In February, experience great classical music with violinist Christian Tetzlaff performing works by Beethoven, Bartók, Mozart and Schubert; and on January 25, don’t miss the adventurous quartet Brooklyn Rider performing works by Beethoven, Philip Glass, Janácek. In February, we host a Muscle Shoals Music Revue with Amy Black‘s horn-driven band pay tribute to classics by Otis Redding and Aretha Franklin, as well as a taste of Brazilian samba with the great Bebel Gilberto. Live broadcasts in the new year include the Metropolitan Opera’s Romeo et Juliette on January 21, as well as a showing of the Bolshoi Ballet’s Sleeping Beauty on January 29. In February, the National Theatre presents Amadeus and the Bolshoi Ballet presents the incomparable Swan Lake.
