BSO Brass Quintet

Praised for their rich sound and stunning virtuosity, the BSO Brass Quintet features five of the foremost brass players in the country – all principal players of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Devotees of chamber music, the BSOBQ brings to vibrant life, the world of wonderful music written for brass. The BSOBQ performs both modern and historical compositions, many of which were written by celebrated composers with strong ties to the city of Boston.

For their Shalin Liu Performance Center debut, the Quintet offers a program that includes works by Gunther Schuller, Leonard Bernstein, and Malcolm Arnold.
