Ways to Give

Thank you for your consideration of a gift to Rockport Music’s In Concert With You campaign. All gifts are welcome and important! The following are giving options that we hope donors will find helpful:

MAKE A PLEDGE

You may pledge your support now and take up to five tax years to fulfill it. Multi-year gifts allow most donors to make larger gifts, often from their assets. All pledges must be made in writing and have a defined payment schedule. Rockport Music will be glad to send pledge reminders, as you wish.

MAKE A GIFT OF APPRECIATED SECURITIES

Gifts of appreciated stock are a tax-efficient way to maximize your gifts. You can claim a charitable income tax deduction for the full market value of the stock on the date of transfer and avoid paying a capital gain on the shares. Please contact the Director of Development Susan K. Coffin at 978-546-7391 x.113 for stock transfer instructions.

MAKE AN OUTRIGHT GIFT

You may write a check payable to Rockport Music or direct a gift from a Donor Advised Fund. Please note on your check or supporting correspondence that the gift should be applied to the In Concert with You campaign.

MATCHING GIFTS

Many companies and organizations will match your gift to Rockport Music, so please check your company’s policy on matching gifts. If your company does match gifts, please enclose the Matching Gift Form with your check. All gifts to Rockport Music are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Rockport Music encourages all donors to consult with their financial/legal advisors when making gifts.

If you have a question about the above, or would like to discuss a different gift option than those listed, please contact Susan K. Coffin, Director of Development at 978.546.7391 x. 113 or via email.
