Host your event in the stunning, seaside Shalin Liu Performance Center!

Completed in June 2010, the Shalin Liu Performance Center is the premiere chamber recital hall North of Boston. Featured in Boston Globe’s “2010 Best of the New: Diversions,” the Shalin Liu Performance Center is heralded as “an intimate, beautifully appointed hall with clear acoustics and dramatic views of the sea, making it one of New England’s most magical spots for chamber music.” The New York Times proclaimed “The Shalin Liu Center [is]...beautiful to the eye as well as to the ear…”

Imagine hosting your special event in this intimate setting with breathtaking views of the ocean—whether presenting a concert, hosting a benefit or celebrating your own special event.

The Shalin Liu Performance Center (SLPC) is a new concert hall with state-of-the-art acoustics and breathtaking ocean views. The SLPC was built by Rockport Music for the Rockport Chamber Music Festival which has presented chamber music of the highest caliber since 1981. With the addition of the new performance center, the organization has expanded its artistic to extend throughout the year and including jazz, classical, pop and world music, Metropolitan Opera and National Theatre of England simulcasts, as well as many other programs.

The Concert Hall is a true chamber music facility that is ideal for small chamber ensembles. In addition to the Concert Hall, the Reception Hall is a beautiful event space with dramatic ocean views available to the community and private individuals for special events including conferences, wedding receptions, and dinners.

Rental Rates & Availability

Due to our Chamber Music Festival, the Hall availability is limited during the summer months, especially June and July. For availability and current rental rates, please contact Rockport Music’s Director of Operation and Sales at 978-546-7391 x.111 for more information. A Preferred Caterers List is available online or upon request.

Holidays have a $500 surcharge. The time listed above includes 2 1/2 hours for load-in and load-out, including catering and sound equipment. Other Rates may apply.

Recording Rate: Weekdays $75/hr

Deposit: A 50% Deposit is required at time of signing the contract.

Staffing: All events held in the Shalin Liu Performance Center will have a
Rockport Music representative on-site responsible for handling needs in the
facility and the event.
