Artistic/Executive Director Ashleigh Gordon will lead audiences on a journey through time and geography. Focused on the often overlooked and underrepresented voices from the African diaspora, this lecture will survey some of the trailblazers – dating from three centuries ago to the present and hailing from three continents – that have and continue to shape the classical music world. This program is designed for adults (families welcome).

Length: 60-75 minutes
