Artist Residency Concerts
During their visit, several of our in-school residency artists present dynamic and engaging community concerts at the Shalin Liu Performance Center. These family-friendly performances give students the opportunity to learn from these established practitioners as they take to the stage from the classroom, deepening each student’s connection to music and their curriculum.
Field Trips
Each season, Rockport Music invites local elementary-high school students to experience the joy of live performance through our field trip program at the Shalin Liu Performance Center. These free, educationally driven concerts introduce students to a diverse range of musical styles and traditions. Set in the warm, inviting, and acoustically brilliant atmosphere of the Shalin Liu, these performances spark curiosity and provide a unique opportunity for young minds to discover the joy and power of live music through dynamic performances by world-renowned ensembles.
