Data Usage and Privacy Policy

Rockport Music is committed to protecting the privacy of our constituents including donors, ticket buyers and friends.  In choosing to provide us with any of your personal information please know that use of your data is governed by the following policies:

  • Rockport Music will not sell or rent any personal information you provide us to a third party. However, we may share your information in our work with trusted third parties we retain to perform services on our behalf (i.e. managing our CRM database, etc.). These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.
  • If you provide us information in connection with a ticket order, subscription or donation, we will use your information to process your payment, deliver your purchase and, if necessary, contact you to resolve any issues. However, when processed, our payment processors will collect, store and encrypt your payment information. We follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally-accepted industry standards.
  • We may compile and share aggregate statistics about ticket sales or philanthropic support but these aggregate numbers will not include any personally identifying information.
  • Any information you provide for purposes of purchasing tickets or making a donation, such as billing and shipping addresses and credit card information, will only be used as needed to process your transaction.
  • Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser (if you allow cookies) that enables the sites or service providers’ systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information (like ticket selections in a shopping cart). We only use cookies to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We do not capture personal information with cookies.
  • You may update your personal information and your preferences at any time. If you have created an account with us, you may update any information previously provided to us on the Account Info page of your account, and you may update your communications preferences as well.  You may also opt-out of particular mailing lists by using the unsubscribe option in email communications.

Rockport Music may revise its Privacy Policy at any time.  Such revisions may be necessary in response to changes in the law or other factors.  Please visit this page periodically to review our most current policy. By using this website, you consent to our online privacy policy.
