The dream of Rockport Music started in 1981 when musicians Lila Deis and David Alpher sat under a linden tree and envisioned a vibrant musical future for the community. Teamed up with Paul Sylva, their shared love of music blossomed into the organization we cherish today. We believe music serves as a timeless bridge, connecting the past and future through universal expressions of emotion, comfort, and joy.
