The Rockport Music Scholarship Fund Story
Created in 2014 by the Board of Trustees to honor four of Rockport Music’s founders, Susan Gray and Alec Dingee, Phil and Eve Cutter, the Rockport Music Scholarship fund has awarded nineteen scholarships over eight years to students from our local community. Susan, Alec, Eve and Phil have donated their time, talent and treasure over their thirty-plus-year engagement with Rockport Music. All were instrumental in helping to raise the funds and building the Shalin Liu Performance Center and all have served as Rockport Music Trustees throughout our history. Throughout their engagement with Rockport music, these four individuals have made it a priority to serve our local community by continually donating to the fund.
