Three of today’s most celebrated soloists—violinist Joshua Bell, cellist Steven Isserlis, and pianist Jeremy Denk—come together for a special performance of works by Robert Schumann. Grammy Award–winning Bell, one of the most influential artists of his era, joins the profoundly expressive Isserlis, MacArthur Fellow Denk, and others in an evening of poetic intensity and chamber-music brilliance.

With a career spanning nearly four decades, GRAMMY® Award–winning violinist Joshua Bell CBE is one of the most celebrated artists of his generation. He has performed with virtually every major orchestra in the world and maintains a multifaceted career as a soloist, recitalist, chamber musician, conductor, and Music Director of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields. In 2025, he was awarded an honorary Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) by King Charles III for services to music.

Cellist Steven Isserlis is one of the most distinctive and versatile musicians of his generation, celebrated for his profound musicianship, intellectual curiosity, and expressive range. As a concerto soloist, he appears regularly with the world’s leading orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, Vienna Philharmonic, London Philharmonic, National Symphony Orchestra Washington, and Zurich Tonhalle. An unusually versatile artist, he frequently directs chamber orchestras from the cello in classical repertoire and performs widely as a recitalist and chamber musician.

BLYTHE TEH ENGSTROEM, viola
American violist Blythe Teh Engstroem studied violin with Nelli Shkolnikova and viola with Atar Arad at Indiana University Bloomington, and later worked with Andrés Cárdenes in Pittsburgh. A passionate chamber musician, she has collaborated with artists including Menahem Pressler, Yuja Wang, Lisa Batiashvili, Joshua Bell, Renaud Capuçon, Leonidas Kavakos, Pinchas Zukerman, and the Quatuor Ébène.
