MISTER G’s journey began in the classroom, where he earned his nickname from his own students while pursuing a Master of Education degree. Inspired by his 4th-grade class, he began writing songs that blended learning, storytelling, and fun—music that eventually launched a career now spanning more than fifteen years. A graduate of Amherst College and the first recipient of a songwriting scholarship from Berklee College of Music, Ben’s work is rooted in creativity, curiosity, and heart.
Today, MISTER G has released 14 albums of original, multicultural music and earned numerous honors, including a Latin GRAMMY Award and five Parents’ Choice Gold Awards.
