GRAMMY Award–winning violinist Augustin Hadelich takes center stage in a program that opens with a solo recital highlighting his extraordinary virtuosity and expressive range, followed by an ensemble performance of Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence. A prizewinner at major international competitions, Hadelich is widely admired for his commanding technique, stylistic insight, and musical intelligence.

Two-time GRAMMY nominee and Avery Fisher career grant recipient violinist Jennifer Frautschi has appeared as soloist with innumerable orchestras such as the Cincinnati Symphony, Chicago Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Milwaukee Symphony, Minnesota Orchestra, and St Paul Chamber Orchestra. She is an artist-member of the Boston Chamber Music Society and has appeared at all of the major chamber music festivals in America.

Hsin-Yun Huang is recognized as one of the foremost violists of her generation, admired for her expressive artistry, advocacy for new music, and commitment to education. She has appeared as soloist with leading orchestras including the Berlin Radio Orchestra, Bavarian Radio Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic, Bogotá Philharmonic, and Beijing’s NCPA Orchestra, becoming the first violist to perform a concerto there.

Rockport Music’s Classical and Rockport Chamber Music Festival Artistic Director, Barry Shiffman, viola, is a distinguished performer, educator, and arts leader. A founding member of the St. Lawrence String Quartet, he appeared in more than 2,000 concerts worldwide and recorded extensively for EMI Classics. Equally respected as a teacher and administrator, he holds senior leadership roles at the Banff Centre and The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.

Adrian Fung, cello, is a versatile performer, educator, and arts leader, best known as the founding cellist of the critically acclaimed Afiara Quartet. With the ensemble, he is a winner of the Concert Artists Guild International Competition, Young Canadian Musicians Award, and recipient of Second Prizes at the Munich ARD and Banff International String Quartet Competitions, as well as the Székely Prize for Best Interpretation of Beethoven.
