A Far Cry &

Anthony McGill, clarinet

A Far Cry joins Anthony McGill, Principal Clarinet of the New York Philharmonic, for a performance of Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto, pairing McGill’s trademark brilliance with the ensemble’s adventurous, collaborative spirit in a program of elegance, vitality, and shared musical purpose.

“McGill has a silken tone, but he possesses the admirable ability to vary it, moving into the foreground or receding into the ensemble as in the swirling textures of the first movement.” San Diego Union-Tribune
