Policies
Exchanges/Refunds
Refunds and exchanges are available to single ticket buyers as well as subscribers up to 3 days prior to a performance. A $1/ticket exchange/refund fee will be applied. Ticket fees are nonrefundable. Refunds and exchanges will still be available to subscribers at no charge.
Late Seating
Latecomers will be seated between musical selections or during an appropriate break in the performance, pending artist preference and audience comfort.
Children
Children are allowed to attend concerts, but we kindly ask that out of consideration of other patrons, that parents not bring babies, unless it is designated as a family concert or free performance.
Electronic Devices
Cell phones and other electronic devices should be turned off or switched to silent mode.
Food and Beverage
For most concerts and events, food and beverage (including wine and beer) are available on the Third Floor Reception Hall of the Shalin Liu Performance Center. However, no food or beverage is allowed inside the concert hall itself.
Cameras/Recording Equipment
Rockport Music does not allow camera and recording equipment in the concert hall without prior permission from the administration.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in the Shalin Liu Performance Center.
Use of Photography by Rockport Music
By attending events at Rockport Music’s Shalin Liu Performance Center, you acknowledge and agree that you may be photographed, videotaped, or otherwise recorded. These recordings may be used by Rockport Music for promotional, archival, or other purposes across print and digital media, including but not limited to websites, social media, and press materials, without compensation or further notice. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform a staff member upon arrival. Thank you for helping us share the magic of the arts with our community.
Accessibility
Seating for guests with physical mobility accommodations and their party is available by calling the Box Office at (978) 546-7391 so that we can best accommodate your needs. A loading zone area immediately in front of the venue allows easy access into the venue and an elevator allows access to accessible restrooms, balcony seating and the third floor. Parking spaces reserved for guests with handicapped placards are available at our administrative offices located at 16 Main Street and surrounding the venue. Please visit our Accessibility page and/or our Directions and Parking page for more information. We also offer assisted listening devices. Please contact us with any other accessibility-related questions.
Third Party Tickets
Rockport Music strongly advises against purchasing tickets through unauthorized third-party sources such as ticket brokers or resale websites. Tickets obtained from these outlets may be invalid or unusable for admission, and we cannot assist with replacing lost or stolen third-party tickets. Additionally, these tickets are often sold at prices significantly higher than their original face value. By purchasing directly through Rockport Music, you ensure valid tickets at the correct price and receive updates on program changes or cancellations. For the best service, please buy your tickets through our website or with our Box Office staff.
