TICKET RESELLERS AND UNAUTHORIZED TICKET SALES
Purchase tickets with confidence.
The safest and most reliable way to purchase tickets for Rockport Music performances is directly through rockportmusic.org or the Rockport Music Box Office.
Rockport Music does not authorize third-party ticket resale websites, including StubHub, SeatGeek, and Vivid Seats, to sell tickets on our behalf. Tickets purchased through these websites or other unauthorized sellers may be offered at inflated prices, carry additional fees, or be invalid for admission.
Rockport Music cannot guarantee the validity of tickets purchased through unauthorized sources.
How to Identify an Unauthorized Ticket Seller
Before purchasing tickets, we encourage you to confirm that you are buying through an official Rockport Music ticketing channel.
Potential warning signs include:
- Ticket prices significantly higher than those listed on rockportmusic.org.
- Unexpected or excessive service fees.
- Listings that do not identify specific seat locations.
- Tickets advertised on third-party resale websites such as StubHub, SeatGeek, or Vivid Seats.
- Websites or advertisements that appear to represent Rockport Music but direct purchasers to an outside ticket seller.
Please be aware that unauthorized ticket sellers may appear prominently in online search results, sometimes ahead of Rockport Music’s official website.
What If You Purchased Tickets from a Third-Party Reseller?
If you believe you have purchased tickets through an unauthorized seller, we encourage you to contact the Rockport Music Box Office before the performance.
While we will do our best to assist you, Rockport Music cannot verify or guarantee admission with tickets purchased through unauthorized sources. We are also unable to issue refunds for purchases made through third-party sellers.
If you experience an issue with your purchase, we recommend:
- Contacting the original seller to request a refund or resolution.
- Contacting your credit card company to dispute the charge if the tickets were misrepresented, fraudulent, or not delivered.
- Reporting suspected fraudulent ticket sales to the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.
Ticket Resale Restrictions
Rockport Music does not authorize the commercial resale of tickets to its performances without prior written permission.
To protect our patrons and the integrity of our ticketing process, Rockport Music reserves the right, consistent with applicable law, to:
- Cancel ticket orders associated with suspected fraudulent purchases or violations of our ticketing policies.
- Refuse future ticket sales to individuals or entities found to have violated these policies.
- Require tickets associated with suspicious transactions to be picked up at the Box Office with valid identification.
- Restrict the use of tickets for commercial advertising, promotions, contests, sweepstakes, or other unauthorized purposes.
Tickets obtained or resold in violation of Rockport Music’s ticketing policies may be subject to cancellation or invalidation, subject to applicable law and the terms of purchase.
