Lena Jonsson’s ability to balance innovative artistic sensibilities, the sparkling joy of life and the charisma of a rock star has made her one of Scandinavia’s most visionary musicians —and a hit performer at the 2023 Rockport Celtic Festival! She creates a virtuosic yet playful trio with guitarist Erik Ronström and bassist Krydda Sundström. The trio won Artist of the Year at the Swedish Folk Awards in both 2021 and 2022. Also in 2021, their latest album, “Stories from the Outside,” won a Swedish Grammis, the Manifest prize, Album of the Year by LIRA Music Magazine and Song of the Year by Swedish radio. Their most recent album, Elements, was released in June 2023.
